Lose weight by preparing an avocado butter and replace the traditional butter

Although many people confuse it with a vegetable because is has eaten in salty dishes and salads, the truth is that’s a fruit.

That’s characterized by its high percentage of fatty acids. But this fat is all about healthy, unsaturated, cholesterol-free vegetable fat. Avocado is known to have "good fats," which include monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. When taking a standard serving of avocado, your contribution is 5 grams of monounsaturated fat and 1 gram of polyunsaturated fat.

It also contains other types of fats that help control the level of cholesterol in your body. Low-density lipoproteins (LDL) and high-density lipoproteins (HDL), HDL being found in a higher proportion and are mainly responsible for regular cholesterol in the blood.

Its contribution in oleic acid has beneficial cardiovascular effects, reducing plasma cholesterol levels.

It contains a significant amount of minerals such as potassium, iron and phosphorus, as well as vitamins K, C, B5, B6 and E; necessary for the proper functioning of your body.

It can be consumed both raw and cooked, being used more as a vegetable than as a fruit. It lacks a characteristic sweet or sour taste, allowing it to be combined with many dishes.

Here below we will leave you a very simple recipe to prepare an avocado butter to replace the traditional butter in your meals. You must bear in mind that the fat content of avocado in "good fats" is higher than in butter, which is more beneficial to have a healthy diet
