INGREDIENTS

500 g of chickpeas;

Mineral or filtered water.

Place the chickpeas in a bowl, cover them with water, and soak for 8 to 12 hours. After this period, the water should be drained and the chickpeas spread on a clean cloth to help remove excess moisture.

Then, place the chickpeas on a tray and bake at 180ºC in the preheated oven, letting them cook for 40 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally so that they do not burn. Remove from oven and let cool.

Once cool, blend the chickpeas until they turn into flour. Then, pass the flour through a strainer and bake again at low temperature for 15 minutes to completely dry it (stir every 5 minutes). Wait for it to cool down and store in a clean, tightly closed glass container.
