Vitamin A deficiency? Here are some foods that can help you

Vitamin A  is present in both plant and animal foods

It can be divided into two types: preformed vitamin A, which is found in meat, fish, and milk products; and provitamin A, which is found in fruits and green vegetables .

The foods where we can find it are very frequently consumed, today we will mention some of them.

Vegetable origin

They can come from fruits such as melon, mango, orange and apricot

They are present in Vegetables such as carrots, broccoli, sweet potatoes, cabbage, spinach, zucchini, and green leafy vegetables.

It is also found in Beans such as chickpeas, lentils, lima beans and beans.

Animal origin

Like those of plant origin, they can derive from different sources, among them we have:

Fish and Seafood are an excellent source of vitamin A, they also provide a series of fatty acids that help fight heart disease.

Dairy Products such as cheese, eggs, ham, butter and many of its derivatives are a good source of this nutrient.

It can also be found in Meat and Chicken, especially in the liver of these animals.
