Coffee is the most loved beverages in the world. According this International Coffee Day they are launching a program to support the next generation of young women and men in coffee, bringing their innovative ideas to life to benefit the whole coffee community and to support the recovery from the covid-19 pandemic, building a more prosperous future for the sector.

International Coffee Day is an occasion that is used to promote and celebrate coffee as a beverage. The first official date was October 1, 2015 and was launched in Milan. This day is also used to promote fair trade coffee and to raise awareness for the coffee growers. On this day, many businesses offer free or discounted cups of coffee.

The International Coffee Organization (ICO) is the main intergovernmental organization for coffee, bringing together exporting and importing governments to tackle the challenges facing the world coffee sector through international cooperation. Its Member governments represent 98% of world coffee production and 67% of world consumption.
